As St. Patrick's Day approaches, we hear a lot about luck. However, we need to remember that what seems like luck in our lives is actually the providence of a loving God. God wants to bless us in abundance through His grace and mercy. Here is a collection of bible verses about blessings and how we can obtain them.
Psalm 23:1-4
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Proverbs 16:3
Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Jeremiah 17:7-8
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
