3 Steps to More Meaningful Prayers

1. MAKE THE COMMITMENT

Daily prayers are so important and they require diligent efforts.

COMMIT yourself to saying daily prayers for 21 days. Research shows that those are the correct number of days needed to create a habit. Once prayer becomes an intentional habit you will be able to get much more out of your conversations with God.

2. FIND A QUIET PLACE

When you pray, make sure to do it in a quiet, private place. Conversations with God require silence, solitude, and focus. When you pick a regular place to spend a few minutes away from the world, your prayers will feel more comfortable and productive.

3. BE PATIENT

After your prayers, take some time to just BE. God doesn’t always answer your prayers immediately after you open your eyes. Pray for guidance and help and be aware that the Holy Spirit may be working on your heart without you even noticing.
